Services

Everything the lawn needs, March to December.

Each service lists when we do it, what it costs on a typical 6,000 sq ft lawn, and which plans include it.

Mowing and edging

Same crew, same day, every week. We mow at 3 inches in spring and fall and 3.5 inches in summer, so the grass shades out weeds and holds water.

  • Blades sharpened every week
  • Hard edges on walks, drives and beds
  • Clippings mulched in, driveway blown clean

Fertilization and weed control

Six rounds timed to Indiana soil temperatures, with the heaviest feeding in fall, when cool-season grass grows roots for next year.

  • Crabgrass preventer before soil hits 55°F
  • Slow-release fertilizer, no burn spots
  • Dandelion and clover control in spring and fall

Aeration and overseeding

Indianapolis clay packs down hard. Core aeration pulls thousands of small plugs so water, air and roots get in, and the seed we spread lands in the holes where it can take root.

  • Core aeration, not spike aeration
  • Tall fescue and bluegrass seed blend
  • Watering plan texted to you the same day

Spring cleanup

Winter leaves the lawn matted and the beds full of debris. One visit clears it out and sets up the season.

  • Sticks, leaves and debris hauled away
  • Fresh bed edges cut with a spade edger
  • First mow of the year, a little lower

Late October to December

Fall leaf cleanup

Wet leaves left on grass over winter smother it and invite snow mold. We clear them twice, once at peak drop and once when the trees are bare.

  • Lawn, beds and gutters at ground level
  • Mulched into the lawn or hauled away
  • Final short mow of the year

Snow removal

Our lawn crews run snow routes in winter. After 2 inches or more, your driveway and walks are clear by 7 AM.

  • Driveway, front walk and steps
  • Pet-safe ice melt when it freezes
  • Text when your driveway is done

About Indianapolis grass. Most lawns here are cool-season grass: Kentucky bluegrass, tall fescue and perennial ryegrass. They green up in spring, slow down in July heat, and do their real growing in fall. That is why our schedule puts aeration, seed and the biggest feeding in September and October.

Put it all on one plan.

Every visit on the calendar, one bill, eight even payments.
