Before you call

Questions people ask first.

How much does a case review cost?

Nothing. The review is free, and so is the first meeting. If you hire us, we work on a contingency fee. We are paid a percentage of what we recover, and nothing if there is no recovery.

How long do I have to file a claim in Texas?

In most Texas injury cases, the deadline to file a lawsuit is two years from the date of the injury. Claims involving a city, county or state vehicle often require written notice much sooner, sometimes within a few months. Call early so no deadline passes.

What if the crash was partly my fault?

Texas uses proportionate responsibility. If you are 50% or less at fault, you still recover, reduced by your share. If you are more than 50% at fault, you do not recover. Fault is often disputed, so do not accept the insurer's version.

Should I talk to the other driver's insurance company?

Report the crash to your own insurer. You are not required to give the other driver's insurer a recorded statement. Let us take those calls.

What is my case worth?

It depends on your injuries, your medical care, your lost income and the insurance available. We give you an honest range after we review the records. We never promise a number on the first call.
