Family owned in Cincinnati since 1962
The plumbers Cincinnati has called for three generations.
Walt Hartley started with one truck in 1962. Today his grandkids run the shop, and a Hartley still answers the phone.
What we fix
Every pipe in an old Cincinnati house.
Clay sewer lines, cast iron drains, basements that flood in April. We have seen them all, often in the same house twice.
Drains and sewer lines
Clogs, roots, camera inspections and line repairs.
Water heaters
Repairs, flushes and same-week replacements.
Sump pumps
New pumps, battery backups and spring checkups.
Faucets and toilets
Drips, running toilets and new fixtures installed.
Water lines and repipes
Galvanized and lead lines replaced with copper or PEX.
Frozen and burst pipes
Thawing, repairs and insulation before next January.

Our promise
If we wouldn't do it in Grandma's house, we won't do it in yours.
My grandfather had one rule for the shop: treat every basement like it belongs to family. That means a price before we start, shoe covers at your door, and no upsell you did not ask for.
If something we fixed fails in the next two years, call me. We will come back and make it right at no charge.
Reviews
What the neighbors say.
"Ray fixed our water heater in 1994. His daughter Kate replaced it last spring. Same family, same honesty."
"Our basement took on water at 6 AM. Danny had a new sump pump running by lunch and showed us the float switch that failed."
"They quoted the sewer repair before digging and finished under the quote. Then they put our flower bed back."

Look for the green vans.
We work both sides of the river. See a Hartley van on your street? Odds are it's a neighbor's water heater.
